Randi Foundation set up an Orphanage in Eastern Uganda as a project initiated to help Orphans and Vulnerable children. John Peter being produced in in a family whose economic background was poor, his parents, weren’t even educated, John encountered a lot of hardships during his child hood growth and his education Careers.
Being that John Peter’s parents were servants and living in a poor grass hatched house, His parents couldn’t afford to educate him, Not Until, he was adopted by A catholic Priest, called Rev. fr Herman Kakooza. He graduated as a physician in Mbale Medical school. After his graduation, he set a clinic, John started doing community outreaches, to people leaving with HIV/AIDs, is where he saw a big number of Orphans who lost their parents, Due to HIV Virus.
We are taking care of 106 Orphans and Vulnerable children. 59 Children, live with their Guardians, 6 children are from Bugiri, 41 Children live at our New Home in Kibuku-local village- Mbale town. Recently John shifted children from the previous Orphanage home to Uncle Patrick’s new home due to Malaria infestations and wild snakes which were attacking the children.
