Story About Us
Where it all began


Randi Foundation is a duly registered voluntary Based charity organization that was named after A light worker known as Randi Teeples Gerber an American woman who lives in United states of America in Arizona. Randi was named after the name of the foundation by John Peter and the Board after the community realizing the great help she offered to the disadvantaged children.

 She is mostly known as a woman who started helping over hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children and she helped John peter a lot in forming up an orphanage in Uganda is said to be one of the best friends of Akol John peter. The foundation was formed way back in 2016 by fifteen (15) members and is charged with the role of fighting poverty and empowering vulnerable groups of people and foster stewardship respect to nature.


Randi Foundation is managed by general assembly and executive committee and support staff. The executive committee is comprised of sub committees (department committees) and these are finance committee, advisory committee.

Source of funding

The organization source of funding is membership fee, annual subscription, donations from friends and income from its production units mainly poultry, maize, beans and passion fruits. Randi Foundation has not secured the significant funders hence being kept with a poor financial muscle thus resistance in its operations

Our Value

Current activities.

  • Randi Foundation is active in providing psychosocial support, providing effort for HIV/AIDs status disclose, voluntary testing and counseling, sensitization and awareness companies on matters surrounding HIV/AIDs, its spread, preventing and control of optimistic infections. Education support to orphans through provision scholastic materials and school uniforms to orphans and most vulnerable.
  • Supporting savings groups and women in the village settings
  • Supporting vocational workshops.
  • Foster care for the children.
  • Visiting homesteads.
  • Visiting prisoners and refugee camps.


  • To solicit funds to support refugees who are affected by wars with food, medication and then shelter.
  •  To solicit for funds from donors to sponsor needy, street kids, and orphaned children and provide them with scholastic materials like, books, pens, pencils and other basic needs.
  • To fight domestic violence, child abuse and illiteracy in the community
  • To support malnourished children. through provision of good health services and education as their rights
  • To solicit support and encourage government, Donor agencies, NGOs, SACCOS, District authorities and other institutions, in identifying the problems and short comings and chart out strategies for action that seek to enhance full and effective participant of marginalized groups in poverty eradication through identifying viable income generating activities, support of quality education, environmental protection and preservation and advocate for good health.

  • To support prisoners with clothing and other needs.
  • To partner with charity water organization in order to access safe water for the different communities.
  • To encourage and support self help initiative projects to fight poverty through various means such as needs assessment, training programs, sensitization and establishment of demonstrable farms, vocational institutions, orphanages and access to Safe water.
  • To provide health support to the persons living with HIV/AIDs Victims, vulnerable, physically disabled children who lack support, migrants, prisoners, through provision of free treatment and nutritional support.
  • To set up savings groups in the villages
  • To give foster care to the children
  • To collaborate/net work with organizations with similar objectives.

Who Do We Work With

Randi Foundation works with the active poor, person living with HIV/AIDs, disabled people, youths, widows, government bodies, donor agencies, CSOs and NGOs with whom it shares similar aims and objectives.

Randi Foundation comprehensive approach aim at improving on the livelihoods of the homesteads of Kibuku,Mbale and Butebo districts through extension of HIV/AIDs care and support services in the local communities, education and health support to OVCs, promotion and support of sustentation income generating activities to increase on income per capital status and catalyze saving culture in rural setting.
